Super Late Update

It‘s been about 5 months since I finished up my chemo cycles! I just got done with one of my follow up appointments (I get checked every 3 months) and I’m happy to say that everything is back to normal!!! Ya girl is cancer free (and has been for a little bit I‘ve just been neglecting to update on here 😅).

A lot has happened in the months since my last post. I worked an internship at Facebook, and got offered a full time job for after graduation (which I accepted without hesitation) Bryan and I got engaged over the summer so we have been preoccupied with wedding planning 💍. I started my senior year of college and the senioritis is hitting hard, but C’s get degrees amirite 🙃

I had a little bit of a fertility scare when I hadn‘t gotten my period in ~4 months. I went to get blood drawn and it looked like I was getting into menopause :( But a few days before I was scheduled to see my fertility doctor, I got my period! And now my ovary achiever is working nicely and normally!

Also my hair is growing back very nicely! It’s thicker, softer, and curlier. I don’t wear my wig anymore, and I learned to style it so I’m not walking around with an afro.

Anyways, I feel like my whole cancer journey was so long ago, it’s insane to think back to January when I got diagnosed. I’m incredibly happy to be back to normal and enjoying my last year of college :)
